Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen said he wants to make history in Italian club, Napoli in a similar way that Diego Maradona did in the 1980’s.
Osimhen recently joined the club on a five year contract with the possibility of a one year extension which is valued at 81 million euros making him the most expensive African player at the moment.
“I am proud to join a club, who have seen great players like Maradona, Higuain and Cavani,” he told Sport1 in an interview.
“I also want to go into the club’s history.
“I want to have a good Serie A and also help the club in the Europa League.”
He will officially commence with the club in September.
